njoy immersive multi-channel sound with the Marantz SR5012 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It delivers up to 100W of power per channel at 8 Ohms and features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility for object-based audio support. Built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay support allows the receiver to wirelessly stream music from compatible sources such as smartphones and tablets.

Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity allows the SR5012 to access a variety of Internet-based music sources. As an added convenience, you can download the free Marantz 2016 AVR Remote app from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Amazon App Store to control the receiver from your Android, Kindle, or iOS devices.

With eight HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, this receiver can act as a video switcher for your HD source components. It will pass through 3D and 4K signals, and will upscale non-UHD signals to near-4K quality for enhanced viewing of lower-resolution sources when paired with a 4K display. The receiver also has a USB port for accessing media stored on USB flash drives. Audyssey MultEQ XT sound optimization will calibrate the receiver to your speakers and room setup for a tailored listening experience.

7-Channel Discrete Amplifier: The power amp section features discrete high-current power output devices, identical on all 7 channels for enhanced realism and dynamic range.

Current Feedback Amplifier: The SR5012 uses a current feedback amplifier circuit for its preamplifier so that signals from a Blu-ray player and other equipment that support high-definition audio formats can be amplified with high fidelity. The high-speed current feedback amplifier is also designed to reproduce a natural sound space.

Dolby Atmos: Dolby Atmos surround sound technology dispenses with channel-based coding in favor of more advanced object-based coding, giving the sound designer the ability to precisely place sounds anywhere in the 3-dimensional space. The SR5012 features the ability to connect a 5.1 surround sound speaker system and two additional overhead speakers, or two additional Dolby Atmos-certified up-firing speakers.

DTS:X: DTS-X features object-based audio coding that lets the sound designer place sonic elements anywhere in the 3D acoustic soundspace and provides for overhead speakers to deliver an enhanced surround sound experience.

4K 60 Hz Supported with HDCP 2.2: When paired with 4K/60p (60 frames per second) content and a compatible display, you can enjoy enhanced resolution with smooth action. The SR5012 also supports 4K/60p with 4:4:4 and 24-bit video, plus HDR and the BT.2020 color gamut.

Digital Video Processor Upscales Analog Video Signals to HD and UHD: The SR5012 is equipped with a UHD video upscaling function that allows analog video or SD (standard definition) video to be output via HDMI at near-4K (3840 x 2160) resolution.

HDMI Connectivity: The SR5012 features eight HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, enabling connection to various HDMI-compatible devices such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, and HD camcorders. The two outputs will let you to output the same image to two displays.

Apple AirPlay, Internet Radio, and More: Enjoy a variety of content, including Internet radio and files stored on your computer. AirPlay lets you stream your music library from an iPhone, iPod touch, or iTunes.

DSD and FLAC Files Playable via USB and Networks: The SR5012 supports the playback of high resolution audio formats such as DSD (5.6 MHz) and FLAC 192 kHz files.

Bluetooth Connectivity: Enjoy music from your smartphone, tablet, computer, or other compatible Bluetooth device.

Multi-Room Audio: You can enjoy your favorite movie in the main room while others can also view it in the second zone. In addition, when the All Zone Stereo function is used, the music playing in the main zone can be enjoyed in all zones at the same time, useful for creating whole-home background music.

Energy-Saving ECO Mode: The SR5012 is equipped with an ECO Mode function that allows you to enjoy music and movies while reducing the power consumption during use, plus an auto-standby function that automatically turns off the power supply when the unit is not in use, further helping to reduce unnecessary power use.

Marantz 2016 AVR Remote App: Download the free Marantz 2016 AVR Remote app from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Amazon App Store for control of the receiver and access to your its setup menu for detailed adjustments from your phones or tablets. The app also provides quick access to the receiver's status display, option menus, Marantz Blu-ray player control, and an online owner's manual for your convenience. With queue management, you can browse and add new tracks to the playlist on the fly.

HEOS Streaming Music: HEOS wireless multi-room connectivity enables you to enjoy your favorite music anywhere and everywhere around your home. By utilizing your existing home network, separately sold HEOS-compatible speakers, and the HEOS App (available for iOS, Android and Amazon devices), you can explore, browse, and play music from your own music library or from online streaming music services. When multiple HEOS devices are connected to the same network, they can be grouped to play back the same music on all devices simultaneously, or different music can be played on each separate HEOS device.

Designed for Easy Setup & Use

With the "Setup Assistant," simply select your language, then follow the instructions shown on your display to set up your speakers and network. After the initial setup, you can change settings using the Graphical User Interface.
